There it was allowed to mature for a further 6 years in American oak barrels in cool, damp cellars, until it was finally bottled in 2016 without additional coloring or sweeteners. Compared to other products in this bottling series, the Reserve Rum of Haiti has been matured for a relatively short time and therefore has a rather light golden color. In terms of taste, however, you can look forward to a harmonious aroma. The nose initially presents a very pleasantly soft and fruity rum, which can also be recognized on the palate. Towards the finish, these aromas are also accompanied by notes of wood
