Bottega Distillery
The Bottega Distillery is an Italian distillery and is best known for its excellent grappa. The distillery's headquarters are located on the old country estate from the 17th century and comprises an impressive 10 hectares of vineyards. The winery is halfway between Venice and the Dolomites. The third generation has been dedicated to the production of fine spirits there. It was founded in 1977 by Rosina Zambo Bottega and her husband Aldo Bottega. Ecological sustainability is one of the most important points of the company's outstanding philosophy. Other important points such as organic farming and the use of renewable energy make the distillery a green company.

With the Bottega Bacur Dry Gin, the well-known grappa company is bringing its first gin onto the market. Like all other products from Bottega, Bacur Gin is characterized by its strong character. Flavoring herbs are added to a mixture of alcohol and water over a longer period of time during maceration in order to obtain a fine aroma. Finally, the gin undergoes a double distillation to filter out any unwanted notes that may still be present.
The Bacur Gin thus unfolds an impressive bouquet on the nose, including notes of juniper, thyme, lemon zest and sage.
On the palate, the gin then shows its full aroma. Full of character and very multifaceted, the aromas already mentioned are joined by thyme and marjoram, the typical Mediterranean herbs.
