Originally, this triple distilled Irish whiskey was known as Old Bushmills Special Old Liqueur Whiskey and was launched in 1934. Its black label prompted fans of this delicate tipple to change the rather long original name to Black Bush - a circumstance that was later taken into account by the Bushmills distillery and led to the name change.
Black Bush Irish Whiskey matured largely in Spanish sherry casks and is a wonderful example of the high quality of Irish whiskeys. Strong with a full body, aromas of malt and sherry with nutty nuances. Black Bush, in fact!

Limited Edition With the Bushmills 10YO Single Malt Sherry Cask, the Bushmills distillery has released a wonderful limited edition. After the normal maturation period in oak barrels, the whiskey matured in fine Oloroso sherry barrels from the well-known Bodega Paez-Morilla. This gives the 10 YO Sherry Cask Finish Whiskey a full-bodied, strong aroma. Subtle honey notes and fine dried fruit notes round off the palate.
Bushmills Irish Single Malt Whiskey 16 years 0.7L 40% This Irish single malt whiskey was stored for 16 years in selected bourbon whiskey barrels, in Spanish Oloroso sherry barrels and in port wine barrels for finishing. Bushmills Irish Single Malt Whiskey 16 years has a red-gold color. On the nose citrus fruit, oak, marzipan and honey. On the palate with a pleasant sweetness, honey, almond and a little pepper. The aftertaste is very long with delicate cocoa notes.
