The Nicaraguan premium coffee beans from the Matagalpa area are finely ground together with the finest Bourbon vanilla pods from Madagascar and then cold brewed. This produces a fine aroma with less bitterness than hot brewing. The cold brewed coffee is then married with 7-year-old Dominican rum. The result: a delicious coffee liqueur with a natural sweetness, so that only a touch of raw sugar is needed for additional sweetness.
