Nàdurra, meaning 'natural' in Gaelic, is a series of small batch expressions from The Glenlivet, made using traditional 19th century techniques. The Glenlivet Nadurra First Fill Single Malt Scotch Whisky 48% is made from American white oak, which has never been used to mature Scotch whisky before. This single malt is not chill filtered and therefore has a rich texture.
The oak casks favoured by The Glenlivet distillers since the early 20th century give this wonderfully rich The Glenlivet whisky hints of creamy vanilla, sweet pear, tropical pineapple, ripe banana and citrus notes. The color is bright gold, while the nose reveals sweet pears and soft vanilla fondant. The palate is creamy with vanilla and ripe fruit notes of juicy pineapple, ripe banana and citrus peel. The finish is medium long and refreshing.
