Base wine of the highest quality

The St. Rémy distillery can look back on a history of over 120 years. It was founded in 1886 in the small town of Machecoul, near Nantes. The area around Machecoul is one of the best growing areas for the 'Gros Plant' grape variety. Gros Plant is better known under the name Folle Blanche. This is a white grape variety with a very high acid content, which was originally used for cognac production. After the phylloxera plague, however, the more resistant 'Ugni Blanc' grape variety was used in the Cognac region. The lower-yielding and more disease-prone Folle Blance grape was rarely cultivated despite its higher quality.

From a small business to the most popular French brandy in the world

Due to the high quality of the brandy, the French brandy from St. Rémy quickly made a name for itself in the world of spirits. The first exports to the rest of Europe followed in the 1920s and from the 1970s onwards it was exported worldwide to countries such as the USA, Vietnam, Canada, Finland, Nigeria and Australia. Sales figures were good and so the brandy from the village of Machecoul, which has a population of 6,000, blossomed into the most popular French brandy in the world.

The Napoleon quality

The Napoleon quality, which is relatively unknown compared to VSOP and XO, stands for cognac or French brandy that has been stored in barrels for at least 6 years. Incidentally, this is exactly the same length of time as XO cognac has to be stored in barrels. During this time, the brandy develops great aromas of orange zest, apricots, vanilla and jasmine flowers. The St. Rémy Napoléon offers the highest quality brandy at an unbeatable price. The low price and high quality make the brandy perfect for high-quality cocktails. Try this brandy as a long drink with ginger ale or with coffee. You will be amazed!

Remy Martin Cognac Carte Blanche II Merpins Cellar Edition 0.7L 44.1% House of Rémy Martin - Carte Blanche series Cellar master Baptiste Loiseau is responsible for the Carte Blanche series. If you take a closer look at the series, however, you will notice that it is a rather unusual 'series'. Unlike other special editions, special bottlings, etc., the first Carte Blanche edition had no release date and especially no limitation. Rather, it is a series of 'guidelines' or the philosophy of the House of Rémy Martin. With the Carte Blanche II Merpins Cellar Edition, he brings out the true expression of Rémy Martin. Rémy Martin stands for cognacs that are full of the freedom of casual styles. The Cognac Carte Blanche II Merpins Cellar Edition is an edition from Merpins, the winery that guards the treasures of brandies. It is a 27-year-old cognac that has intense aromas, but also appears very round and pleasant on the palate. The aromas are notes of gingerbread spice, honey cake and mirabelle plum.

Vecchia Romagna Etichetta Nera 0,7L 38%
Vecchia Romagna Etichetta Nera 0.7L 38% Brandy from Northern Italy The Vecchia Romagna Etichetta Nera is a brandy from the northern Italian province of 'Emilia Romagna'. The basis is the Trebbiano grapes from the region, from which a wine is first pressed. In the further process, this wine is double distilled and made ready for bottling by adding water to drinking strength. Before it can be bottled, however, it matures for at least three years in wooden barrels made from the well-known French Limousin oak. The taste When you open a bottle of Etichett Nera Brandy, you are initially struck by a pleasant scent of oak paired with sweet almond notes. You can also smell vanilla and notes of caramel. On the palate, the Italian brandy is very mild and offers a pleasantly soft mouthfeel. The sweet vanilla and caramel notes come into focus first, while almonds remain more discreetly in the background. You can also now detect the woody, spicy aromas absorbed through storage in oak barrels.
