History and production of Sheridans Double Liqueur
Sheridans Double Liqueur is produced by the Thomas Sheridan & Sons distillery in Dublin and has been on the market since 1994.
The special thing about Sheridans Double Liqueur is the unique shape of the bottle. This has two separate compartments. In the left area there is white cream liqueur, in the right a brown liqueur with coffee and whiskey flavor. Thanks to the well thought-out pouring mechanism, the perfect mixture of both liqueurs ends up in the glass when pouring, without the liquids mixing. This creates a white layer of liqueur on top and a brown layer of liqueur on the bottom. The separation of the layers ensures not only the impressive appearance but also that the taste of white chocolate, strong coffee and full-bodied whiskey only comes together in the mouth.
Taste of the Sheridans Double Liqueur
The Sheridans Double Liqueur has two different liqueur variations. The white liqueur made from fresh Irish cream tastes of vanilla and white chocolate, the brown of coffee and Irish whiskey. In the mouth, both liqueurs combine to form a harmonious taste composition reminiscent of Irish coffee. In the finish, there are clear notes of nuts and dark chocolate. The Sheridans Double Liqueur is wonderfully creamy and particularly mild and soft in taste.
