The Ocean's Rum Atlantic Edition 1997 is the flagship product from Ocean's Rum. It is the first rum in a series of three very limited special bottlings, with the other two rums - Ocean's Rum Pacific Edition and Ocean's Rum Indian Edition - not due to be released until 2015 and 2016 respectively. These special bottlings are named after the three great oceans, with each blend reflecting the character of the rum varieties produced there.

The Atlantic bottling contains rums from Barbados, Belize, Guyana, Jamaica, Martinique and Trinidad. All high-quality Caribbean and South American rums! The storage time was between 16 and 21 years and 5432 liters of Ocean's Rum Atlantic Edition 1997 were bottled from a total of 16 barrels, each with 43% vol.
