As an inexpensive classic among the Islay whiskies, Laphroaig Single Malt Scotch Whisky 10 years has almost cult status. Matured for 10 years in selected oak barrels in the south of the western Scottish island of Islay, this characteristic single malt whisky has a light, golden color.
On the nose with clear peat notes, medicinal nuances, salt, seaweed and a light sherry note. On the palate intensely smoky, light sweetness, lots of peat, a trace of salt and a powerful body. The aftertaste is dry, intense and extremely long. Laphroaig Single Malt Whisky 10 years offers a lot of whisky for little money, but is definitely not for beginners.
