English Harbour Rum Sherry Cask Finish Batch 3 0,7L 46%
English Harbour Rum Sherry Cask Finish Batch 3 0.7L 46% Rum from Antigua The history of rum production on Antigua begins very early. The first rum-like distillate was probably produced on the Caribbean island shortly after the first sugar cane was grown around 1650. Sugar cane production grew dramatically and in 1764 6,000 hectares of land were planted with sugar cane, which was processed in 78 factories. By 1939, however, this number had fallen to two and the end of rum production was in sight. To counteract the downward trend, a group of shop owners in Antigua came together in 1932, bought their own plantation and built a distillery. The Antigua Distillery initially produced in pot stills and had a matured and a white rum in its range, which were made from muscovado molasses. In the 1950s, however, these were replaced by a copper column system and the former name of the rum - Caballero - was changed to Cavalier. In addition to the Cavalier Rum, the Antigua Distillery also produces English Harbour Rum, which is intended for export. English Harbour Sherry Cask Finish The English Harbour Sherry Cask Finish Rum was stored for five years in ex-bourbon barrels made of American white oak and was then transferred to Oloroso sherry barrels from Spain, in which it spent a further three to six months. The production batches are relatively small and the English Harbour Sherry Cask Finish Rum is not chill-filtered and is bottled without artificial flavors and colorings. The nose reveals fine notes of cinnamon, pepper and cloves as well as traces of wood. On the palate, these notes are complemented by a fine orange fruit note, nuts and caramel. The aftertaste is peppery and relatively long. The strong finish is characterized by roasted aromas. The English Harbour Sherry Cask Finish Rum is the ideal accompaniment to fruity desserts or a light cigar. We also recommend enjoying it neat and using it, if at all, only in extremely high-quality cocktails. It is a small batch rum with numbered bottles and a limited edition.

English Harbour Rum 10 Years, 0,7 L, 40%
English Harbour Rum 10 years 0.7L 40% The history of English Harbour English Harbour Rum is produced by Antigua Distillery LTD on the island of Antigua in the Caribbean. The tradition of rum production on Antigua dates back to the early 19th century, when local farm owners used simple pot stills to produce relatively light and elegant rums for their own use. With the demise of private rum production in the early 20th century, rum traders began to create their own blends and sell them under catchy names such as Red Cock, House and Silver Leaf. In 1932, some of the most successful rum traders finally joined forces and founded the Antigua Distillery Company. After selling two different types of rum and an aged rum called "Caballero Rum" in the early days of the company, several sugar cane farms and a sugar factory were acquired in 1934 and the company began producing its own molasses and muscovado sugar. The molasses from the muscovado sugar was finally processed into rum from the 1950s onwards. The production of the English Harbour Rum 10 years As in the days of old, the English Harbour Rum 10 years is distilled from the best molasses. This is done at Antigua Distillers in a continuous distillation plant with five copper columns. After distillation, the English Harbour Rum is stored for more than ten years in used whiskey and bourbon barrels. After maturation, the English Harbour Rum 10 years is bottled at 40% vol. The taste of the English Harbour Rum 10 years The smoky aromas from the oak barrels combine pleasantly with aromas of citrus fruits, dried fruits, vanilla and notes of burnt sugar in the nose of the English Harbour Rum 10 years. Coconut, cinnamon, butterscotch, coffee, baked apple and floral nuances define the taste of the English Harbour Rum 10 years. In the aftertaste, the English Harbour Rum 10 years reveals slightly smoky notes and spices such as cardamom that linger on the palate for a long time. The English Harbour Rum 10 years is one of the best dark rums in its price range!

English Harbour Rum 5 Years Old 0,7L 40%
English Harbour Rum 5 Years, 0,7 L, 40%
English Harbour Rum 5 years 0.7L 40% The Antiqua Distillery has been producing rum on the island of the same name in the Lesser Antilles since 1932. In the first few years after it was founded, the rum was initially distilled in pot stills. However, after the trend towards lighter rums in the 1960s, the distillery switched to a 4-column system. Unlike many other distilleries, the new column still, like the pot stills, was built from copper. Although this has a negative effect on the lifespan of the system, it has a positive effect on the taste of the rum. The English Harbour Rum, which has been matured in small oak barrels for five long years, is already surprisingly good for its young age. It offers a wealth of aromas, ranging from cherry, oak and vanilla to slightly smoky tones. Delicate notes of ripe apples, coconut and cinnamon flood the palate when enjoying this spirit. English Harbour Rum has won countless awards at international competitions and won double gold at the International Spirits Competition in San Francisco in 2005.
