Originating on the sun-drenched island of Mauritius, this rare spirit unites Caribbean exoticism, English aging expertise, and French elegance in a harmonious whole. From Sugar Cane to a Connoisseur's Experience Its origin lies in the traditional La Bourdonnais Distillery, where fresh molasses from regional sugar cane was distilled using the column still method in 2010. The rum then matured for a year under the intense tropical sun in an American oak barrel before being transferred to England in 2011. It rested for over a decade in the old cellars of Bristol Spirits before receiving its finishing touch in French cognac casks – a maturation process that imparted depth, finesse, and exceptional aromatic nuances. Finally, in 2022, this exquisite rum was bottled in a limited edition.
