In 2010, this rum was produced in the Labourdonnais distillery in Mauritius on the basis of molasses. After distillation, it was allowed to mature in refill oak barrels for a good 10 years, and finally finished in selected cognac barrels until it was bottled by the independent bottler Bristol in 2021.
The rum from Mauritius is a very soft rum. The 10-year-old seduces the palate with a balanced aroma with notes of fruit and oak. Long-lasting aromas extend into the finish, which also impresses with a long-lasting, balanced finish.

Bristol Trinidad and Tobago Rum 2006/2019 Cask 472/2 Limited Edition 0.7L 61.5% Trinidad and Tobago Single Cask Bottling The rum with the year data 2006/2019 from cask No. 472/2 is released as a second edition and also as a limited edition by the independent bottler Bristol. They have made it their mission not to let rare rums, of which only rarely bottlings are available worldwide, fall into oblivion, because where decades ago there were once an incredible number of distilleries, be it rum or whisky, for example, the number of successful, active distilleries has unfortunately declined significantly. One of the few still active is the company 'Trinidad Distillers', they are also responsible for the Trinidad & Tobago bottling from 2006. The rum was distilled from fine molasses and then allowed to mature for 13 years in a barrel made of American white oak. After the maturation phase was completed, it was bottled at cask strength and without the addition of coloring.
