At the end of the 19th century, the best rums in the world were produced in the company "Industrias Arechabala" founded by José Arechabala in Cárdenas near Havana. Most of the rums of the Arechabala empire, from which the world-famous Havana Club also originated, were forgotten during the revolution led by Fidel Castro.
To remember the earlier times, Arecha Rum was created as a tribute to the founder, which is made according to old original recipes. It is made using traditional artisanal methods from mild Cuban sugar cane and matures in old barrels made of Californian oak.
This dark amber-colored premium rum matured for 15 years, which can be seen in its perfectly interwoven aromas of banana, caramel, vanilla and exotic fruits. With every sip of this exotic rum you enjoy a part of Cuban history.
