Cointreau Orange Liqueur 1.0L 40% Cointreau is an orange liqueur from France that has been produced since the middle of the 19th century and was originally called Cointreau Triple Sec. Numerous imitators tried to copy Cointreau, so the addition of Triple Sec was dropped to avoid confusion. Cointreau offers an incomparable, intense orange and citrus aroma and is one of the best orange liqueurs in the world.

Auf Basis ihres ersten Gin-Rezepts entwickelten sie einen aromatischen Sloe Gin. Einige Jahre später übernahmen ihre Kinder Michael und Felicity die erfolgreiche Brennerei. Mit dem Wissen um die Familien-Tradition in der Likörherstellung verfeinerten sie das Gin-Rezept weiter. Das Ergebnis ist der unverwechselbare 6 O’clock Gin, der durch sorgfältig ausgewählte Botanicals und eine perfekt ausbalancierte Rezeptur mit einem erfrischend klaren Geschmack überzeugt. Der 6 O'Clock Sloe Gin verwendet als Basis den London Dry Gin, der mit reichlich handverlesenen Schlehen und einer perfekt abgestimmten Menge Zucker verfeinert wird. Anschließend wird die Mischung für mindestens sechs Monate schonend mazeriert – deutlich länger als bei den meisten anderen Destillerien. Das hohe Verhältnis von Schlehen zu Gin und die lange Reifezeit sorgen für einen besonders weichen, intensiv fruchtigen Geschmack, der die frische, leicht säuerliche Note der Schlehen wunderbar bewahrt.
