Killepitsch Bitter 0.7L 42% Good things from Düsseldorf While the quality of Düsseldorf beer is a matter of debate, at least in the Rhineland region, there is one beer that is even enjoyed in Cologne: the famous Düsseldorf herbal liqueur Killepitsch. This has been made for over 40 years from the essences of 98 different berries, herbs and fruits. These mature for a whole year in ancient clay vessels and are finally bottled in the distinctive Killepitsch bottle. The exact recipe is still a family secret and is passed down from generation to generation. To ensure a consistently high level of quality, only natural raw materials are used. In addition to the herbs and spices, this is a double-finely filtered alcohol. From the bomb shelter to the bars of the world Killepitsch has its origins in an air raid shelter. Old friends Hans Müller-Schlösser, the creator of the "Schneider Wibbel", and Düsseldorf veteran Willi Busch were there again. While the "bombs" were falling outside, Willi said to Hans, "If it happens again, they'll kill us too." Hans replied, "But not Willi, before we two have a tasty one." The two of them weren't able to "pitch" any more that evening, but as they survived the "bombs" attack unscathed, they still had enough time. The innkeeper Hans Müller-Schlösser tried out numerous recipes and finally served his friend a homemade bitter at the opening of his tasting room "Et Kabüffke". The two friends called it "Killepitsch" in memory of the nights they spent together in the bunker. The "strong, not so sloppy, not so better" liqueur quickly spread throughout the Rhineland and eventually to the rest of Germany. Kill the Bitch It's nothing new that German herbal liqueurs are very popular in the USA. Jägermeister now makes 40% of its sales in the USA - more than in Germany or any other country! Killepitsch is also becoming increasingly popular with Americans. However, since they have always had problems with the German language, Killepitsch is called "Kill the Bitch" there. "Kill the Bitch" is enjoyed in America neat or as Pink Pussy Juice. This is 2 cl Killepitsch with 4 cl pink grapefruit juice on ice cubes. Dirty, but Nice!

Gustav Arctic Vodka
Gustav Arctic Vodka, 0,7 L, 40%
Gustav Arctic Vodka About Lignell & Piispanen and Gustav Arctic Vodka Gustav Arctic Vodka is produced by the Finnish company Lignell & Piispanen. Lignell & Piispanen is a family business founded in 1852, which is now run by the sixth and seventh generation of the Nylund family. Lignell & Piispanen was founded by Gustav Ranin, who acquired the then very well-known "Crown Distillery" in the city of Kuopio in 1859, just a few years after its founding. The Crown Distillery was founded in 1783 by King Gustav III of Sweden and was already one of the most technologically advanced distilleries in the country. Gustav Ranin introduced a company philosophy that placed particular emphasis on respecting the Nordic wilderness and working with the products it provided. Based on this philosophy, Gustav Ranin developed the recipe for a vodka that laid the foundation for the success of the Lignell & Piispanen company. About Gustav Arctic Vodka Gustav Arctic Vodka is still produced today according to Gustav Ranin's almost unchanged recipe. This means that the best wheat is distilled in a multiple distillation process to produce high-proof Gustav Arctiv Vodka. This is then filtered and diluted with fine arctic spring water to a pleasant 40% ABV. This is how a lot of manual work results in a very pure and high-quality vodka that is known far beyond the country's borders. The taste of Gustav Arctic Vodka Gustav Arctic Vodka is a very dry vodka that never seems too sharp. The mouthfeel of Gustav Arctic Vodka can best be described as gentle. Fine aromas of grain dominate the taste and can still be clearly perceived in the aftertaste, which is relatively long for a vodka. Due to its very well-rounded taste, Gustav Arctic Vodka is ideal for drinking neat. Whether lightly or heavily chilled is something every connoisseur has to decide for themselves. But Gustav Arctic Vodka unfolds its enormous potential not only neat, but also in cocktails. A vodka for connoisseurs and gourmets!

Gin Pitsch Düsseldorf Dry Gin 0,7L 44%
Gin Pitsch Düsseldorf Dry Gin 0,7L 44%
Gin Pitsch Düsseldorf Dry Gin 0.7L 44% Gin Pitsch – A Düsseldorf Dry Gin Pink Gin is the younger brother of the legendary herbal liqueur Killepitsch, which comes from the Peter Busch liqueur factory, founded in 1858. Behind the Rhenish factory there is a truly funny story about two old friends. The basic idea came during one of the two's many conversations. When the two friends Willi Busch and Hans Müller- Schlösser once sought shelter in an air raid shelter when bombs were flying outside and the noise from outside was really frightening, Hans said to Willi: If it happens again, they'll kill us too". But not Willi, before the two of us have had another tasty treat", replied Willi, which was probably meant more as a joke. Shortly after that night, Hans Müller, who was already working as an innkeeper at the time, set about developing his own fine herbal liqueur that would be remembered forever. At the end of his development phase, he introduced Killepitsch, which was made from a double-filtered alcohol. Word quickly spread throughout the Rhineland about what a fine herbal liqueur had been created, and it wasn't long before it conquered the whole of Germany. Now for the new Düsseldorf gin: It is therefore only natural that some botanicals from Killepitsch have also found their way into Pink Gin...it is known that 18 herbs and spices are used in gin, a few well-known ones include juniper and citrus fruits. It impresses with its very soft and mild taste. The design of the Gin Pitch bottle also shows where this fine juniper schnapps comes from. Pictured here is the impressive skyline of Düsseldorf. So if you are already a fan of Killepitch, you shouldn't miss out on trying this new creation from the product portfolio of the Peter Busch liqueur factory. But this new, exceptional gin is also highly recommended to all other gin lovers!
