The Royal Dirkzwager distillery in Schiedman, Holland has been producing spirits of the highest quality since 1879. The small town of Schiedman has always been considered a stronghold of the art of distilling. In addition to master distillers, scientists settled here early on to further support the art of distilling through technical progress.
The Royal Dirkzwager distillery is considered one of the most renowned in the city and was honored in 2004 by Queen Beatrix I (Netherlands) for 125 years of consistent quality.
Tim Vos, the distillery's master distiller, learned his craft from his father and grandfather at a young age. One of Voss's great passions is bringing new flavors to the ultra-premium Van Gogh Vodka. In 2005, he therefore launched the Vodka Espresso onto the market.
This is flavoured with Colombian coffee beans in a lengthy and gentle process. On the nose, this exciting product impresses with aromas of cocoa and citrus fruits in addition to the intense coffee aromas. The aftertaste is long and gentle. Ideal for coffee cocktails!
