In 1897, John Hopkins laid the foundation stone for our unique distillery after discovering a remarkably clear water source deep in Speyside. In the same year, the first cask of Speyburn whisky was produced to mark Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. More than 125 years later, we are honoring our founder with the Speyburn Hopkins Reserve Single Malt Whisky 1.0L 46% Vol. - an exquisitely crafted, delicately smoky single malt Scotch whisky that lives up to its name.
The light amber color gives this whisky a warm aura. The nose is accompanied by a gentle smoke, which is infused with a hint of zesty citrus fruits, sweet honey, butterscotch and vanilla as well as a slightly spicy note. The taste reveals subtle smoky notes, green apples, toffee and lemons. The finish is sweet, spicy and long-lasting - a true delight for connoisseurs and lovers of hand-crafted single malts.
