Cognac Ferrand is the result of a meeting between Alexandre Gabriele and one of the oldest wine-growing families in the Cognac region. Alexandre Gabriel's vision was to breathe new life into Cognac Ferrand and make the distillery one of the best cognac producers in the world.
He kept the traditional copper stills in order to produce a distinctive cognac that perfectly showcases the terroir of the Grande Champagne. This special cognac is made from Grande Champagne grapes and was developed in collaboration with the well-known cocktail historian David Wondrich.
Cognac in the old style
The aim of this collaboration was to develop a cognac in the style of the old cognacs from the 19th century, which were mostly used for mixing at the time.
This cognac has a wonderful floral bouquet and a rich and elegant body with notes of vanilla, toffee and nuts. The aftertaste is long and strong. Due to its strong and aromatic character, this cognac is actually one of the best mixing cognacs on the market. Perfect for cocktails!
