Many young consumers see this as an "old man's drink" and prefer to consume other spirits. It was no longer possible to rely on just one product and so Carolus H.J. Nolet successfully launched Ketel One Vodka on the market in 1983. Today, Ketel One Vodka is one of the most successful vodka brands in the world and the associated success enabled the managing director to pursue his own dream - producing his own gin! Nolet's Dry Gin The Reserve Nolet's "The Reserve" gin is no ordinary gin - several years have passed just to optimize the recipe. The special thing about "The Reserve" gin, which is produced in Schiedam, is that each botanical used is individually macerated and then distilled in a small copper still. The recipe clearly focuses on two botanicals - saffron and verbena. After the individual botanicals have been distilled, they are married and subjected to further maturation. This ensures that the individual aromas harmonize and an exceptional gin is created. Before bottling at a strong 52.3% vol., Carolus H.J. Nolet examines each individual bottle to ensure that only the best possible quality is bottled. The taste of Nolets Dry Gin The Reserve is unique, just like the product itself.
