Meukow - an unmistakable identity

On behalf of the Russian Tsar Alexander II, Karl and August Meukow from Silesia traveled to Cognac, France, in 1850 to select special cognac for the noble house. This was intended to maintain the trade relations between the houses and at the same time guarantee supplies for the Russian court. After several years of traveling between the two countries, the siblings decided to have their own spirits house in Cognac and finally opened the AC House MEUKOW & Co. on August 1, 1862. With the panther as its brand symbol, the company became the best known brandy company in the world by the 1990s at the latest. The panther stands for the power and elegance of every Meukow cognac. To this day, Meukow is one of the most successful family-run companies, thanks to the skill of the two founding brothers. During their lifetime, they managed to attract a wide variety of well-known (and at the time powerful) partners to their company. Among them was the then mayor of Cognac.

With this liqueur, Meukow has proven that rum and vodka are not the only things that go well with the bitter note of coffee. This time, the basis of the fine Meukow Xpresso liqueur is the company's noble VS Cognac. This has been refined with the best roasted coffee beans.
Anyone who loves coffee will like this cognac. The bitter-sweet notes of the coffee are clearly in the foreground, but never become too overpowering and seem bitter or anything like that. Quite the opposite. They have managed to find a good balance between the cognac aromas and those of the roasted coffee beans. The coffee expression is accompanied by other aromas of dark chocolate and bitter orange.
