Meukow Cognacs
The Meukow Cognac company, founded in 1862, was founded by the brothers Auguste-Christophe and Gustav Meukow after many trips to the Cognac region in France. They were supposed to supply the Russian Tsar with the popular spirit.
The company has always been family-owned and is currently under the management of the Compagnie de Guyenne. The company has grown steadily since its founding and is enjoying ever-increasing recognition. The location in Cognac, which is characterized by its strong historical history, naturally also contributes to this. Meukow Cognacs have made a good name for themselves in recent history and are the official cognac of the White House and the royal family.

The panther as a brand symbol
Michel Coste, founder of the Compagnie de Guyenne, was looking for a symbol that would strengthen the Meukow brand itself and also highlight the top quality of the cognacs. This should of course be something that would set his brand apart from the others. So in 1993 he decided on the panther and created the 'Feline' bottle, which became an icon of Meukow Cognacs. In connection with Meukow Cognacs, the panther stands for perfection in strength, elegance and variety.

Meukow Cognac VSOP Arima
Together with the South American superstar Bunji Garlin from Trinidad, Meukow Cognacs has released a limited edition of the already well-known Meukow Cognac VSOP. It is a mixture of VS Cognacs and older ones.
Bottled in the brand's typical panther bottles, but here colored white, each bottle is signed by Bunji Garlin.
The wines are distilled after the grapes have been harvested and fermented using the traditional pot still method.

Taste
The wines are distilled after the grape harvest and fermentation using the traditional pot still method and the storage in wooden barrels gives the Meukow VSOP Cognac its strong and spicy wood aromas as well as its intense color.
The selection of eaux-de-vie shows an extraordinary finesse and is mainly characterized by aromas such as nuts, candied oranges, coffee and vanilla. The brandy has a rather intense taste with a long-lasting finish.
