After the Rhinelander Abraham Hart moved to England at the beginning of the 18th century, he founded a small company that focused on importing the best Caribbean rums. In 1803, his grandson Lemuel (Lemon) Hart took over and just one year later created the famous rum blend Lemon Hart Original.
Until his death in 1845, Lemuel Hart managed to make the company world famous and the rum became the official rum of the Royal Navy and was served to sailors for over 150 years.
Lemon Hart Original is a blend of rums from Guyana, Trinidad and Jamaica. It presents itself as a classic mixed rum in a completely unexperimental way and brings the aromas and power into the glass that you would expect from a rum! Particularly suitable for classics such as Mai Tai and Cuba Libre.
