France is rightly considered a country of exquisite spirits. One person who recognized this early on was the bon vivant, cigar maker and entrepreneur Zino Davidoff. Davidoff, who emigrated with his family from Kiev to Geneva as a young boy, quickly learned how to mix pipe and cigarette tobacco correctly in his father's shop.
During extensive trips to Cuba, he intensified his knowledge and founded what is probably the most famous cigar brand in the world. In addition to tobacco products, Davidoff has always had a particular penchant for good wines and spirits and also sold them in his shop.
This extravagant VSOP was one of the house's bestsellers and still enjoys a special reputation among cognac lovers today. It was blended from individual cognacs that are up to 20 years old and has an intense bouquet of vanilla, caramel candies and delicate oak. On the palate it is very present with a wonderful tobacco and chocolate aroma. The aftertaste is long-lasting and characterized by honey.
