Apothekers Limoncello
The distillers select only lemons from the Sorrento Amalfi coast for their Italian lemon liqueur. These lemons are known for their intense aroma, which makes them particularly suitable for liqueur production. Only the peels of the organic lemons are used, which are peeled very thinly without the white skin and then soaked in neutral alcohol for several weeks to "macerate". This not only releases the essential oils from the peels, but also creates the characteristic yellow color of the DSM No. 960 Apothekers Limoncello. After maceration, the flavored alcohol is mixed with a sugar syrup to create a full-fledged liqueur.

Drinking recommendation
For an authentic Italian experience, we recommend serving the Limoncello as an aperitif or digestif. It is best to chill the liqueur in the freezer for a few hours before serving or serve it in a chilled glass. This way it develops its full aroma and ensures refreshing enjoyment.
