Chopin Potato Vodka 0.7L 40%
The potato-based Chopin Vodka was first released in autumn 1993 and revolutionised the Polish vodka industry, not only with its elaborate premium packaging, but also with its new quality standards. Chopin set the starting signal for many future super premium brands - not only in Poland.
The innovative design of the bottle has been adopted countless times and can now be found in modified form in brands such as Grey Goose or Belvedere. The vodka is named after Poland's famous composer Frederic Chopin, who was not fortunate enough to taste this vodka - he died many years earlier.
The use of his name for commercial purposes led to quite a few protests in Poland, but the excitement has now died down. Chopin Potato Vodka has a pleasantly soft note on the nose. In the mouth it has an intense taste, mild and very balanced between alcoholic sharpness and subtle sweetness. For many connoisseurs, Chopin Vodka is proof that the Poles produce the best vodka in the world.
