A rum for real rum lovers
Founder and director of the company John Barrett has made it his mission to bring the most special rums closer to rum lovers. With his company, he ensures that rums from closed distilleries also reach the public and are not forgotten.
The Bristol Caroni Trinidad is also such a treasure. It comes from the Caroni Distillery, which was closed in 2012. It embodied the typical Caribbean rum style through and through.
The Trinidad rum was produced at the end of the 90s as one of the distillery's last rums and matured for a decade in barrels made of American white oak. Bristol Spirits acquired this single cask bottling and made it available to the German company Haromex in 2019. The bottling was just 250 bottles, making its value for true rum lovers even clearer.

What can such a high-quality, long-aged rum offer?
Let me tell you, quite a lot! However, it offers a great balance between the aromas and the general taste. Fruity, tropical notes are absolutely in focus here. They offer a good balance between sweetness and natural sweetness. Notes of oak and various spices complete the picture at this point.
